ツアー内容 TOUR DESCRIPTION

ずくだしサイクリングツアーはずくだしエコツアーの事務所から出発。季節や天気、参加者タイプなどによるけど、最初は住宅街を通りながら日本の家の造りのお話しを。The Zukudashi Cycling Tour starts from the Zukudashi Eco Tours office in the center of Onsen Town Togura-Kamiyamada.  While the course varies with weather, seasonality, group interests, etc., it typically begins by passing through a residential district with stops to point out some fascinating fundamentals of Japanese housing. 

木の陰の中で坂を上って、茅葺屋根のお寺に寄ってから千曲川沿いの歴史的な街まで下りる。Then the tour ascends up a wooded slope to an ancient thatched-roof temple before descending back down to a historical neighborhood by the Chikuma River. 

途中に果実畑や田んぼを通り、農家の苦労話を。自連社から下りて、自分たちのチョイ苦労も?! Along the way, the tour passes through fruit orchards and rice fields, with opportunities to explain how the farmers toil their crops.  Be prepared to get off the cycles and join the farmers in their toil!

神社を見学したり地元の侍の伝説を聞いたりしてから川沿いのサイクリング道路で温泉街に戻り、足湯でソフトアイスの一服。After visiting a local temple and learning some of the area's samurai stories, the tour follows the riverside cycling path back to the onsen town and finishes up with ice cream at the onsen foot bath.

ずくだしの自転車　ZUKUDASHI BICYCLES

ずくだしの自転車は大きさ5つもあるし、二人乗りや子供様なトレーラもあり、(ほぼ)だれでも参加が出来ます。Zukudashi bicycles come in five sizes, with a tandem and several trailer bikes available as well.  So anyone from tykes to too-talls can enjoy cycling the scenic Nagano countryside.

ガイドとはTHE GUIDES

ずくだしのガイド達はこの戸倉上山田に住み着いた3人。グローバルの感覚を生かしてこの周辺の魅力を紹介します。Your Zukudashi Cycling Tour guides are all transplants to but have Togura-Kamiyamada as their home town.  They are all bilingual (Japanese and English) and are happy to share insights into the local area honed by their global perspectives. 

タイラーはシアトル出身で亀清旅館の宿主。Go!は大学のころからの信州人での家庭教師。るみ子は事務員でこちらのダーリングと暮らしている。Tyler is an ex-pat from Seattle (U.S. West Coast) who runs Kamesei Ryokan with his wife.  Go! is a tutor and has been living in Nagano since his college days.  Rumiko works in office management and has lived here since marrying a local.
